Artists and researchers at the Royal College of Art in London present, as a collective, a show driven by two parallel research concerns: the manifestation and interpretations of alternative Artificial and Distribute Intelligence Systems and the role of Storytelling within AI Real-World Narratives.
Through various approaches Ana-Cartography (…None of the Above) maps the real, not-real and emergent possibilities that art can reveal in leading contemporary discussion around AI.
This exhibition explores the rhythms and possibilities presented by methods that oscillate between narratives of the ‘not-knowing’ (continual artistic/human becoming) and ‘unthought’ (the cognitive assemblages beyond human consciousness).
Threaded through the run of this exhibition will be co-art/design sprints, provocations and practicals (workshops).
Artists, contributors and researchers include established internationally recognised artists and researchers including: Johnny Golding, Tom Simmons, John Wild, Manu Luksch, Mukul Patel, Matt Lewis, Jonathan Boyd, Jeremy Keenan, Maggie Roberts, Sonia Bernac, Dario Srbic and Shira Wachsmann.
