The online exhibition DIGITAL POWER: Activism, Advocacy, and the Influence of Women Online. curated by Kathy Rae Huffman for ACM SIGGRAPH Digital Arts Community will be online in early June just prior to SIGGRAPH 2020 in Washington D.C. The selection will include Manu’s moving image work, Predictive Cities (6 min, 2019), a rendering of a fictitious, futuristic urban space based on photogrammetric surveys of Dakar. Predictive Cities evokes the city’s foundations in code – not concrete: today, access to public space, transit, citizen rights and policing are increasingly mediated through data tokens rather than by physical keys, passages and barriers.
